Uncle Bellini’s Secrets

”Uncle Bellini’s Secrets” – Video game. Savannah (2000)

”Uncle Bellini’s Secrets” was Savannah’s first attempt to make a “small game”. It would be built from graphic material we already had and tied together by my narrative voice and a little story.
Unlike the small games that came later, “Uncle Bellini’s Secrets” had the atmosphere of the larger games. For instance, Manuel Espansandin produced excellent sound and music for it.
It was interesting for me to be allowed to do speak and use my skills as a reader – skills that had otherwise been latent since the poetry of the ’80. It went so well that we felt up to making an audio book afterwards.
